Product Spotlight: GARLIC JALAPENO CHEESE BALL MIX

A zesty blend of garlic, jalapenos, cilantro and traditional Mexican spices creates a spicy party favorite!

So much more than a cheese ball...

Jalapeno Chicken

6 boneless, skinless chicken breast
OH! SO GARLIC
3 slices bacon, diced
1/4 cup diced onion
1 (8 oz) brick cream cheese, softened
1 sleeve GARLIC JALAPENO CHEESE BALL MIX
1/2 cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
1 cup shredded Tex Mex type cheese
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
Crispy Topping
1/2 cup crushed butter crackers (such as Ritz crackers)
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
4 tbsp butter, melted

~preheat oven to 425F. Place chicken in a casserole dish, sprinkle generously with OH! SO GARLIC and bake until juices run clear.
~while chicken is baking, prepare jalapeno spread: cook bacon and onion in a small skillet until bacon is crispy and onions are tender. Remove from heat and place in a mixing bowl. Add cream cheese, GARLIC JALAPENO CHEESE BALL MIX, mayo/yogurt and cheeses to mixing bowl and cream together until well combined.
~remove chicken from oven and reduce heat to 350F. Spread on top of chicken until well covered.
~for the topping; mix together crushed crackers, Parmesan and butter. Sprinkle on top of chicken. Bake until cracker topping is golden brown, about 10-15 minutes.

Spicy Chicken and Jalapeno Cream Cheese Taquitos

3 cups cooked chicken (store bought rotisserie is easiest)
1 brick cream cheese, softened
1 sleeve GARLIC JALAPENO CHEESE BALL MIX
1/3 cup sour cream
1/2 cup PEACH & MANGO HABANERO SALSA (this is our spicier salsas; if you prefer less heat use our CHIPOTLE BLACK BEAN & CORN SALSA)
1 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 1/2 cup chopped baby spinach, stems removed
9 - 10 (6-inch) flour tortillas
vegetable or canola oil for frying

Serving options:
sour cream/quacamole/salsa/taco sauce/ranch dressing

~in a large bowl mix together chicken, cream cheese, GARLIC JALAPENO CHEESE BALL MIX, sour cream, salsa, cheese and spinach.
~working with one tortilla at a time add 2 heaping tablespoons of chicken mixture off center and spread out like a log. Roll up and set seam side down on a platter. Repeat until all tortillas are filled and rolled.
~add enough oil to a large skillet , heat oil to med heat; cook tortillas in batches, turning once to brown. Remove to paper towel to drain.
~serve with your choice sauces.

Other uses for GARLIC JALAPENO CHEESE BALL MIX
· Great filling for baked mushroom caps.
· Mix with ground beef for a Mexican twist to burgers, meatballs & meatloaf.
· Combine 1 package with 1- 8 oz brick of cream cheese and ½ cup 
 sour cream; heat for a delicious sauce over pasta or baked chicken.
· Add seasoning and ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese to your favourite 
 corn bread mix.
· Combine ½ pkg with 1 cup whipping cream and ½ cup white wine, 
 a squeeze of lemon juice and sun dried tomatoes. Serve over pasta. 
 (add cooked chicken – optional)

· Add 2 Tbsp to mashed potatoes.
